The Community Media Association The Community Media Association's mission is "to enable people to establish and develop community based communications media for community development and empowerment, cultural expression, information and entertainment."

BBC Training and Development BBC radio courses cover all aspects of technical and operational radio skills and can also provide tailored radio training.

The Radio Academy "Getting Into Radio" is a unique collection of advice, suggestions, hints and tips from our colleagues throughout the radio industry, originally compiled as a 60-minute CD. We now have the pleasure of offering it to you as MP3 audio, here on our website. We know that you'll find it useful and hope that you enjoy it.

Audacity Audacity is free, open source software for recording and editing sounds. It is available for Mac OS X, Microsoft Windows, GNU/Linux, and other operating systems.

Internet radio for schools.  The BT Education Programme offers a selection of guides.  Using the most basic of equipment they take you through pre-production issues, writing scripts, presentation skills, interviewing techniques, and post-production issues such as editing and assembling the programme.
